ABOUT CRFP CYCLING

Welcome to the Capital Region Fire & Police Cycling Team website.  The primary mission of the CRFP Cycling Team is to provide an organization that will bring together Public Safety Personnel of all cycling abilities in the National Capital Region. Our goal is to encourage healthy lifestyles and physical fitness in all aspects of cycling, as well as helping our members achieve their goals through education, friendship, teamwork, and fun.

CRFP Cycling consists of cyclists with a variety of riding experiences. Our members can be seen on the road, or off the road.  Any public safety, emergency services employee, or volunteer who is interested in bicycling, whether for health, recreation, competition, transportation, or fellowship are welcome and encouraged to join.

Our club members meet regularly for recreational rides (road and mountain) and for competitive training rides.  While we are organized as a recreational club, CRFP Cycling also offers a race team component.  Race team members compete in Local, Regional, National, and International events which include Road Races, Mt. Bike Races, Triathlons, Off-Road running, and Adventure Races.
