Venture
Quest
Adventure
Race

found
themselves
on
the
third
step
of
the
podium
today
in
the
Venture
Quest
Adventure
Race
at
Fountainhead
Regional
Park.
Competing
in
the
3
person
division,
the
CRFP
team
had
to
find
a
series
of
checkpoints
as
they
biked
along
the
demanding
technical
single-track
trail,
navigate
a
trek
both
on
and
off
trail
along
the
Bull
Run-Occoquan
trail
system
corridor,
and
paddle
the
waters
of
the
Occoquan
Reservoir.
For
the
5
–
9
hour
race
the
team
finished
in
7
hours
and
20
seconds
making
good
time
in
the
mountain
bike
and
rowing
portion,
but
loosing
a
little
time
in
the
running/trekking
portion.
It
was
the
teams
best
time
ever,
and
good
enough
for
3rd
place.
